2Lt. (Rob) Hancock has tutored and taught at Robert Land Academy for two years. He earned his Honours Bachelor of Science with a major in Microbiology from McMaster University. In addition, he received his Ontario Teachers’ Certificate from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York. Since 2007, Rob has worked for the District School Board of Niagara as a supply teacher and tutor. Rob comes from an interesting background. As a youngster, he was relocated to Nigeria for a year while his father was employed by the World Bank to rebuild the Nigerian railway. In 1973, Rob was a member of the Brampton Citizens Band that played for Queen Elizabeth II. Before his teaching days began, Rob used his degree in high-temperature colloids, refinery corrosion control, and medical diagnostic imagery. As a member of the Robert Land Academy teaching staff, Rob teaches Grade 10 Science, Grade 12 Chemistry, and tutors throughout the evenings and weekends.
