Robert Land Academy – a military-inspired boys’ boarding school that provides a structured, engaging, and distraction-free community that engenders a positive attitude, pride, health, and academic achievement.
Our program for boys in grades 11 & 12 focuses on successfully placing each student in a university or college program of their choice. Academic counseling provides knowledge of choices and options within a motivating, goal-oriented environment. Credit courses offered are delivered in compliance with the Ontario Ministry of Education requirements.

Our programs cater to students in grades 11 to 12, offering a comprehensive academic curriculum that prepares them for higher education. Our dedication to academic excellence is evident in:
- Specialized Curriculum: Senior courses are selected based on their appropriateness for university and college admission. Senior students’ choices are determined by the university or college program that they have identified.
- Academic Support: All Senior Division students will meet with the Academic Officer to ascertain career and post-secondary objectives. Parents will be advised of the outcome of this meeting.
- Small Classes and Individualized Attention: With small class sizes, we ensure personalized guidance and academic support. Our teachers are dedicated to helping students succeed.
- Volunteer work: To graduate with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) students must complete 40 hours of volunteer work within four years of high school.

They gain access to top-notch gym facilities, fostering their physical development and sportsmanship.
As our students prepare for university and future careers, they benefit from a disciplined yet supportive environment. The program allows for structured independence, with students able to spend a four-day weekend at home each month, and the possibility to earn additional leaves based on their exemplary performance.
We continue to prioritize nutrition, ensuring all meals and snacks are healthy and well-balanced. Our kitchen, led by a fully accredited chef and academy alumnus, upholds the highest standards, as evidenced by our Eat Smart! School Cafeteria Award. This holistic approach ensures our students are well-prepared for the challenges of higher education and adult life.

Robert Land Academy offers a comprehensive program carefully designed to equip boys for the journey beyond school. Each element of our program is meticulously integrated, maximizing their chances for future success in university and beyond.
Regular meals served at the same time each day with a balanced diet high in fruit, vegetables, and fibre, with no “junk food”.
Regular routine which includes daily physical exercise and a full eight hours of sleep nightly
A rural setting to assist concentration and the removal of the many distractions which include video games, television, personal computers and cell phones.
A coaching approach to teaching intended to build self-confidence while retaining genuine challenge and achievement
