RLA is a school located near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We provide a safe and structured environment for boys grades 5-12 who may be experiencing some issues in a traditional school setting.
The Robert Land Academy school campus is situated in a country setting on 168 acres
in the heart of the historic Niagara Peninsula, approximately 50 minutes from the US-Canada border at Niagara Falls and one hour from Toronto, Ontario (just outside the town of Wellandport). This isolated setting provides an environment that is free from the harmful distractions and influences that can often result in underachievement or confused priorities in some children.
The facilities include an Administration Building, an Academic Building with classrooms and laboratories, a Library, fully air-conditioned Barracks-style Dormitories, a Dining Hall, as well as a fully-equipped Athletic Complex complete with Gymnasium, Boxing Ring, Weight Room, and an indoor Climbing Wall.
Our campus includes several outdoor training areas including playing fields, rustic cabins, a paintball course and mountain bike riding trails. In addition to the RLA school campus, the surrounding area is ideal for a variety of adventure activities such as scuba diving, parachute training and canoeing that serve to challenge the students.
The isolated setting and structured program allow the students to focus without distraction, while extensive sporting and adventure opportunities are available to challenge and stimulate their growth. These aspects of the campus are essential to the overall approach.
Here’s what the parent of a previous student had to say
“Before he attended Robert Land, we saw a son who had little if any respect for either himself or his fellow-man. Now we see a son who believes in himself and who wants to get involved in the world. This is truly an amazing accomplishment in two short years.”
B. Busch, parent
