Alanna Wielink joined the Robert Land Academy Academic Department after spending a year in Bravo Company as a Staff Sergeant. Before RLA, Alanna earned diplomas in teaching at Covenant Christian Teachers College and Administration at Niagara College, and she is currently adding to her resume by pursuing her degree at Athabasca University in Psychology with a specialization in adolescent behaviour. Alanna has already taught for two years at the elementary level. Here at the Academy, Alanna teaches Grade nine French. Outside the classroom Alanna has been very active. She is the camp director of Niagara Adventure Camp here at the Academy. She is also part of the admissions team, coaches and trains the Varsity cross country team, and her love of music can be heard in the Music Club. When Alanna is not at RLA, she can be found singing, figure skating, running, or hiking.
