Lieutenant Aaron Austen graduated from Brock University with a degree in Sociology. Aaron went on to attain his TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, allowing him to build rapport with non-English speaking students here at the Academy. Aaron will be joining Robert Land Academy’s teaching staff after two years of working with the Academic Department as a tutor for Charlie Company. Here at the Academy, Aaron will be teaching Grade 9 Geography, Grade 10 History and Grade 11 Forces of Nature. Outside of the classroom, Aaron was selected and certified on the indoor rock wall and the Academy’s new outdoor rappel tower, both of which he is eager to use. When Aaron is not at RLA, he can be found reading, hiking, or patiently waiting for his next opportunity to travel.
