Bob Wright MA

Bob’s appointment to the Board of Governors of Robert Land Academy in 2015 was a homecoming of sorts.  Bob first served on both the Operational and Academic staff of Robert Land Academy in the early 1980’s while he was finishing university and has remained supportive of the Academy and its mission throughout the years.

In 2016, he was elected Vice-Chair and in 2019 he became the eleventh Chair in the history of the Academy.

He is presently the Principal Consultant at L.E.S. Consulting, a firm he started in 2001 which provides Emergency Management and Public Safety expertise internationally.  Bob is a retired Police Executive and served in the Canadian Army before working at Robert Land Academy.

He is a life member of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police and the Lincoln and Welland Regimental Association.

Bob has a Master’s Degree from the University of Guelph, a Bachelor’s Degree from Brock University, and a Diploma in Police Management from the University of Western Ontario.
